This study compared ischemia-modified albumin levels, a marker of ischemia in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Ischemia-modified albumin levels were significantly lower in patients with collateral circulation compared with those without collateral circulation. (C) 2003 by Excerpta Medica, Inc.
