Neurologists have been fascinated by the paraneoplastic neurologic disorders (PNDs) for over a century. In the past 20 years, PNDs have emerged as prime examples of the way in which modern molecular biology can be used to transform esteric medicine into widely applicable scientific and clinical insights.
