摘要
The electrochemical polymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) in DNA liquid-crystal (LC) electrolyte was analyzed. A custom-made three-electrode cell was used for the asymmetric oxidative electrochemical polymerization. The DNA electrolyte containing the monomer (EDOT) was charged between the sandwiched electrodes, where a Teflon sheet was inserted as a spacer. The electrochemical polymerization of EDOT in the oligonucleotides showing no lyotropic LC gave neither a specific surface morphology nor optical activity for the polymer film.
