摘要
The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of biventricular (BV) pacing on the inducibility of sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy. Compared with repeat standard programmed electrical stimulation, BV pacing reduced the inducibility of sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia from 89% to 29% (p <0.05), but resulted in ventricular fibrillation and/or flutter in 43% of the patients. These malignant arrhythmias, however, were always the result of 3 extrastimuli or tightly coupled 2 extrastimuli.
