摘要
In this paper a modified Benedict-Webb-Rubin (BWR) equations of state (EOS) is proposed. A series of thermodynamic properties is applied to obtain the constants in the equation. The final equation contains only one empirical parameter. The validity of the equation is verified by calculating the PVT properties of different substances in very wide density, pressure and temperature range, and the results are satisfactory.
