Numerical investigation of the CW end-pumped NYAB and LiNbO3:MgO:Nd self-doubling lasers

摘要
A model describing forward and backward counter-propagating laser and second harmonic waves inside a non-linear laser crystal is used to calculate the output green power obtained from NYAB and LiNbO3:MgO:Nd3+ self-doubling lasers. The model includes end-pumping and reabsorption of the second harmonic waves by the Nd3+ ions. The model is first adjusted to fit experimental data from the literature and give predictions concerning the comparison between the crystals and the influence of some cavity parameters.
