摘要：

In the title compound, [Ni-2(C2H3O2)(4)(C24H16N6)(H2O)(2)].CH2O, the coordination polyhedron of each Ni-II centre is a distorted octahedron formed by three N-atom donors from a tetra(2-pyridyl)pyrazine molecule and an aqua O atom in the equatorial positions, and by two O atoms from different acetate anions in the axial positions. The formaldehyde molecule is not coordinated; it is disordered over two sites related by a crystallographic twofold axis.
