Luminescence of Zn1-xMgxSe, Zn1-xMgxSe:Al and Zn1-xMgxSe:I mixed crystals grown by Bridgman method

摘要
Zn1-xMgxSe mixed crystals for 0 < x < 0.56 have been grown by high pressure Bridgman method. The dependence of lattice constant, luminescence and electrical properties on Mg concentrations has been investigated. The crystals with different x exhibit orange and green (deep levels) as well as blue and UV (near-band-edge) luminescence in the temperature range from 40 K to room temperature. The influence of doping with aluminium and iodine on electrical and luminescent properties has been investigated for the first time.
