摘要
In a recent article Ge and King [J. Chem. Phys. 111, 9461 (1999)] question, on the basis of their recent density functional calculations, the interpretation of quasielastic helium atom scattering experiments on surface diffusion. In this comment we attempt to clarify a number of misunderstandings and justify the methods used in the data analysis. (C) 2001 American Institute of Physics.
