(Figure Presented) Alkane and arene join together: Various arenes were coupled directly with simple cycloalkanes. The reaction was catalyzed by ruthenium under oxidative conditions to give substituted cycloalkylarenes regioselectively (see scheme). © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
