摘要
Hemoglobin, after being treated with dimethyl sulfoxide, exhibits a direct electrochemical response at a pyrolytic graphite electrode. The apparent standard potential (E-alpha) of hemoglobin is -0.119 V (vs. NHE). Meanwhile, since no electrochemical mediator is required for its direct electrochemistry, this work provides a convenient way to perform electrochemical research on this protein.
