Thioureato brigded binuclear complexes of the lanthanides synthesis and crystal structure of [{PhC(NPh)NC(S)NEt(2)}{Et(2)NC(S)NH}LnBr(thf)](2) (Ln=Gd, Sm)

摘要
The reaction of potassium-N- (diethylaminothiocarbonyl)-N'-phenyl-benzamidinat with LnBr(3) (Ln = Gd, Sm) leads to the formation of the binuclear complexes [{PhC(NPh)NC(S)NEt(2)}{Et(2)NC(S)N}LnBr(thf)](2)} (Ln = Gd 1, Sm 2). The two bridging thiureatoligands are probably built during the reaction of potassium with the starting ligand. Coordination by one N-(diethylaminothiocarbonyl)-N'-phenylbenzamidinato-ligand, one Br-ion and one THF-ligand leads to square antiprismatic coordination of the lanthanoids. The structures of both compounds were characterized by X-ray analysis (1: <P(1)over bar> (No. 2), Z = 1, a = 12.006(4) Angstrom, b = 12.245(4) Angstrom, c = 13.612(3) Angstrom, alpha = 70.55(3)degrees, beta = 68.21(3)degrees, gamma = 81.31(3)degrees 2: <P(1)over bar> (No. 2), Z = 1, a = 11.803(3) Angstrom, b = 12.344(5) Angstrom, c = 12.797(8) Angstrom, alpha = 103.07(5)degrees, beta = 101.76(3)degrees, gamma = 114.13(3)degrees).
