摘要
Tethering of two equivalents of mono-protected 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene gives an intermediate which allows for eventual copper-catalyzed intramolecular biaryl coupling to afford a new nonracemic BINOL documenting a new strategy to modified binaphthyl ligands. (C) 1997, Elsevier Science Ltd.
