摘要
Surface modification of a layered silicate, magadiite, with a perfluoroalkylchlorosilane, [2-(perfluorohexyl)ethyl]dimethylchlorosilane, was conducted for the first time. By utilizing the dodecyltrimethylammonium-magadiite as the intermediate, a fluoroalkylsilyl group has successfully been introduced into the interlayer space of magadiite through the formation of a siloxane bond. The resulting material possesses high thermal stability and film-forming ability, which have not been achieved for analogous alkylsilylated-magadiites.
