Effect of dislocation absorption on the motion of specific grain boundaries in Al-bicrystals

摘要
The results of an investigation of grain boundary migration in slightly rolled (up to 1.3%) bicrystals of pure Al are presented. The grain boundary mobility was found to decrease substantially with increasing deformation for pure tilt boundaries. For the non-tilt boundaries there was no difference in the boundary mobility in deformed and undeformed bicrystals. (C) 2001 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
