Contamination of magadiite by fluorine in commonly used synthetic procedures

摘要
In the paper, the results of studying fluorine contamination of magadiite (a layered silicate) during the synthesis in a Teflon-lined autoclave at high temperatures are presented. The crystal structure of the synthetic mineral was confirmed by X ray powder diffraction data. The fluorine impurities were determined using 19F magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR) spectroscopy and ionic chromatography technique.
