摘要：

The protein tyrosine phosphatase SHP-5 functions in many diverse signalling pathways. The recent identification of a SHP-5-binding protein as a homologue of the Grb2-associated adaptor protein Gab1 sheds light an the role of SHP-5 in immune signalling.
