摘要：

Cycloaddition reaction of a lithium ynolate to N-sulfonylimines afforded 3,4-disubstituted beta-lactams. The cis-products were synthesized in high diastereoselectivity via quenching of the intermediate, beta-lactam enolates, with phenol.
