摘要
This paper outlines the results of a study aimed at developing a framework for quality measurement in higher education, the emphasis being on the reaching aspects of engineering education. Following a theoretical study of the dimensions of quality in this environment, the paper reports on the empirical research carried out to validate the framework through internal consistency testing, factor analysis and predictive validity. A customer-oriented strategy for measurement was selected on the basis of customers' perceptions on quality dimensions, their importance ratings and their overall evaluation of the service provider.
