Asymmetric enamine catalysis

摘要
The enamine catalysis is the reaction whereby the primary and the secondary amines of electrophilic substitution reactions in the α-position of carbonyl compounds and related reactions via enamine intermediates. This chemistry may come in as a catalytic variant of the classical performed enamine chemistry. There are three fundamental roots of this enamine catalysis. These are: a) the stoichiometric chemistry of enamines, b) the enamine catalysis as a biological approach to carbon-carbon bond formation, and c) the Hajos-Parrish-Eder-Sauer-Wiechert reaction. Furthermore, enamine catalysis has transformed into a powerful strategy for asymmetric synthesis. The topics being discussed include the asymmetric aldol reactions, the asymmetric Mannich reactions, the asymmetric Michael reactions, the asymmetric α-functionalization of carbonyl compounds, and some other asymmetric C-C bond forming reactions.
