Cyanidin 3-O-(6"-succinyl-β-glucopyranoside) and other anthocyanins from Phragmites australis

摘要
Three anthocyanins were isolated from the flowering tops of Phragmites australis. Their structures were elucidated by means of homo- and heteronuclear two-dimensional NMR techniques and mass spectrometry to be cyanidin 3-O-(6 "-O-succinyl-beta-glucopyranoside) (2%), cyanidin 3-O-(6 "-O-malonyl-beta-glucopyranoside) (64%) and cyanidin 3-O-beta-glucopyranoside (34%). The former pigment, which is a new anthocyanin, represents the first identification of an anthocyanin acylated with succinic acid found outside the dicotyledon genus Centaurea (Compositae).
