摘要
The locations of Ne-18 + alpha resonances have been measured as excited states in Mg-22 using the C-12(O-16, (HE)-H-6)Mg-22 reaction. Eighteen new levels were discovered in the range 0 less than or equal to E(c.m.)less than or equal to3 MeV above the Ne-18 + alpha threshold. The Ne-18(alpha, p)Na-21 reaction rate in the temperature range 0.2 less than or equal toT less than or equal to1.0 GK has been calculated using the results from the present measurements, and the implications for nuclear burning in explosive stellar scenarios are discussed. This study also yielded energy-level information on low-lying Na-21 + p resonances of importance to the Na-21(p, gamma)Mg-22 reaction, one of the key links in the NeNa cycles in novae.
