The NO dimer, 14N and 15N isotopomers isolated in nitrogen matrix:: a near, mid and far infrared study

A near and far infrared study of (NO)-N-14-(NO)-N-14 and its isotopomers, (NO)-N-14-(NO)-N-15 and (NO)-N-15-(NO)-N-15, isolated in Nitrogen matrix was carried our. Infrared active fundamental vibrational modes, nu(1), nu(2), nu(3) and nu(6), for each species of the cis NO dimer have been observed, as well as combination bands nu(1) + nu(5). The trans ON-NO form of the three isotopic species was also observed as well as the cis and trails ONON form. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
