摘要：

Numerical calculations of the scanning near-field optical microscope images of assemblies of dielectric spheres is reported. It is shown that the reported images obtained experimentally of a triangular lattice of polystyrene spheres can be reproduced in good agreement. Other possible images for various parameters are also discussed. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science S.V. All rights reserved.
