Protonolysis of the beta-diketiminate calcium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide [{ArNC(Me)CHC(Me)NAr}Ca{N(SiMe3)(2)}(THF)] with benzylamine is reversible and forms a quantifiable equilibrium mixture.
