摘要
We employ a theoretical model to assess the importance of Ridley's channel in limiting the lifetime of nonequilibrium zone-center LO phonons in zinc-blende materials. For comparison, we also present results for the decay through Klemens's channel as well as via Vallee-Bogani's intraband combination channel. (C) 2002 American Institute of Physics.
