摘要
Polymer chains with unsaturated end groups can be produced by the addition of catalytic chain transfer agents near the end of an atom-transfer polymerization. The polymers were analyzed by MALDI-TOF, NMR, and TGA experiments to determine the degree of unsaturation with good agreement. These polymers can subsequently be used as macromonomers in copolymerizations with monomers such as ethyl acrylate.
