摘要
N-myc downstream-regulated gene 1 is a recently identified gene product that is known to have a role in regulation of trophoblast differentiation and response to injury. By using immuno-staining, Western immunoblotting, and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, we found that the expression of N-myc downstream-regulated gene 1 is upregulated in placentas from pregnancies complicated by intrauterine growth restriction or severe preeclampsia.
