摘要
in this work we discuss properties of excitons in quantum well structures of CdTe/CdMnTe. We analyse exciton-phonon interaction of strongly localised excitons by studying the temperature dependence of photoluminescence (PL) (width and spectral position of PL lines) and PL dynamics. Evidence of a slow exciton migration/tunnelling among localised sites is presented and its effect on the luminescence spectrum and exciton dynamics is discussed. We show that strong localisation of excitons, observed at low temperatures, results in quasi-zero-dimensional nature of excitons. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
