Preparation of nanocrystalline VMg(OH) x and VO x • MgO from organometallic precursors

摘要
A process is proposed for the synthesis of nanocrystalline VMg(OH) (x) and VO (x) center dot MgO with specific surface areas of up to 1200 and 470 m(2)/g, respectively. The synthesized VO (x) center dot MgO oxides consist of nanocrystals (2'aEuro"5 nm), which form platelike agglomerates. As distinct from conventional impregnation of magnesium oxide, the aerogel process for VO (x) center dot MgO synthesis ensures a uniform vanadium distribution in MgO.
