摘要
The rate and saturated amount of the self-assembled adsorption of 4-pyridinethiolate species on a polycrystalline gold surface from an ethanol solution of di(4-pyridyl) disulfide were significantly increased under ultrasonic irradiation with an intensity higher than the ultrasonic cavitation threshold. Meanwhile, interestingly, the saturated amount decreased with an increase in concentration of di(4-pyridyl)disulfide under irradiation, while it was unchanged in the absence of ultrasound.
