摘要：

The composition of the essential oil from the roots of Salvadora persica L. (Salvadoraceae), collected in Jordan, was analyzed by GC and GUMS. Seventeen compounds were detected, the main constituents being benzyl isothiocyanate (70%), limonene (9.4%) and alpha-pinene (8.7%).
