Controlling the electronic properties of single-wall carbon nanotubes by chemical doping

摘要
Single-wall carbon nanotube bulk material can be reversibly doped by redox reactions between the material and solutions of organic radical-anions, with Li+ as a counter ion. The shift of the Fermi level induced by the redox reactions determines both the electrical conductivity and the chemical composition of the doped material. The reported results show that there is no stage of intercalation into the material. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
