Evaporation growth of multipod ZnO whiskers assisted by a Cu2+ etching technique

摘要
Large and uniform multipod ZnO whiskers were successfully synthesized by a Cu2+ etching-assisted evaporation growth method. Products were characterized with X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic emission spectrum and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. Results showed that the products had pure hexagonal phase with radical shapes. The functions of etching technique for the formation of final products were discussed. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
