摘要
Linear and nonlinear optical properties of germanium-implanted ordered arrays of silica spheres have been studied at lambda = 0.532 mum. These periodic structures exhibited a large nonlinear refraction effect that was attributed to transversely confined optical fields. (C) 2002 Optical Society of America.
