摘要
Plasma-induced chemical micropatterning for cell culturing is a new field of plasma surface modification of biomaterials. It is based on a trend to miniaturization of detailed structures of tissue culture scaffolds. In the present paper plasma methods are discussed with respect to other techniques which also induce micropatterned cell growth. Plasma-based methods might have certain advantages regarding modification of various biocompatible materials. Examples are given to demonstrate this. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A.
