摘要
The performance of a telescope of micro-strip gas chambers (MSGC) has been studied in a beam of pions. Detectors with different anode pitch and with different substrates have been operated using several gas mixtures. The position resolutions obtained by reading out the cathodes for the 200 mu m pitch is 42 mu m. For the 400 mu m pitch detectors the resolution is 42 mu m after correcting the centroid positions with a function derived from the data.
