摘要：

In general, neutrophils are assumed not to express the alpha(4)-integrin, a molecule implicated in the recruitment of mononuclear leukocytes and eosinophils to sites of inflammation. In this article, the authors review evidence demonstrating that neutrophils can express the alpha(4)-integrin and use this alternative mechanism to mediate neutrophil adhesion and migration.
