摘要：

The Ullmann coupling of amines with aryl iodide and bromides has been carried out efficiently using Pd(OAC)(2)/1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino) ethane [DPPE] in toluene as a solvent. The effects of various parameters such as temperature, solvent, base, catalyst loading and metal-ligand ratio on the reaction system were studied. The reaction is applicable to a wide variety of substituted aryl amines and alkyl amines with different steric and electronic properties. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
