摘要
(Graph Presented) Taking a deep breath: The hydrated form of the microporous metal organic framework MIL-53(Cr) performs better than the dehydrated form for the selectivity binding of carbon dioxide over methane (see graph). The polarity of the adsorbed gas is thought to play a role in inducing framework flexibility and the breathing of the pores. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
