摘要：

The existence and geometrical characteristics of mineral bridges in the organic matrix interface of nacre were discussed. It was found that the mineral bridges increased the Young's modulus of organic matrix interface in the direction of mineral bridges by five times. The analysis suggested that the microstructure of nacre possessed a slightly tangled 'brick-bridge-mortar' (BBM) structure.
