摘要：

DNA sequencing by capillary electrophoresis has been reviewed with an emphasis on progress during the last four years. The effects of sample purification, composition of sieving matrices, electric field strength, temperature, wall coating and DNA labeling on the DNA sequencing performance are discussed. Multicapillary array instrumentation is compared with one-capillary systems. Integrated systems that perform the whole DNA sequencing operation online starting from the DNA amplification through base calling and data processing are discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
