Surface and percentage depth doses for secondary blocking using a multileaf collimator and cerrobend-alloy blocks

摘要
Percentage depth doses from the surface to a depth of 30 cm have been measured for a number of square fields using 6 MV and 15 MV X-rays as part of the commissioning procedure for a commercially available MLC. Factors such as changing SSD, presence of a secondary blocking tray in the beam, and radiation transmission between the MLC leaves were investigated. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
