(Chemical Equation Presented) Mild conditions are described that allow the palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of Cα-alkynylated glycine with a wide variety of electron-rich and electron-poor aryl and heteroaryl halides in aqueous media. © 2006 American Chemical Society.
