摘要
A new type of gold nanosphere and nanorod particles-attached indium tin oxide electrode, which exhibited a relatively low electron transfer resistance for aqueous redox couples, could be fabricated by applying a seed mediated growth method without using peculiar binder molecules, such as 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS). By SEM and electrochemical techniques, the as-prepared gold nanoparticles-modified ITO electrode was characterized and compared with an MPTMS linked surface. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier B.V.
