摘要
The formation of complex polycyclic systems from terminal alkynes based on the concept of pericyclic reactions of catalytic metal-vinylidenes is presented. Metal-vinylidenes, easily formed from terminal alkynes with catalytic amounts of several metal complexes, can be used in electrocyclizations, cycloadditions or sigma-tropic rearrangements to afford valuable compounds.
