摘要：

The synthesis and efficient purification of cyclic poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) was reported. A modification to the synthetic method was proposed which allowed effective separation of linear byproducts from the cyclic polymer on the basis of their chemical differences. Mass spectrometry showed that all linear anionic species were removed by ion-exchange reactions using a macroporous anion-exchange resin.
