摘要:
Air oxidation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was studied. CNTs were oxidized in air at different temperatures, and then were used in fabricating polarizable electrodes of electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs). Experiment showed that air oxidation could modify the intrinsic structure of individual CNTs and improve the dispersity of CNT powder. Specific capacitance of the polarizable electrodes in EDLCs based on oxidized CNTs were obviously improved, but the effects were influenced by the thermal annealing temperature.
