摘要
Electron transport mechanism in nano-structured TiO2 electrodes are disclosed and discussed in view of improvement of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC). Effective electron transport in the TiO2 electrodes is well explained by ambipolar diffusion of electrons between trap-sites on TiO2. The specific interaction of cationic species with TiO2 interfaces plays an important role in charge screening of photo-injected electrons. The effects of shallow trapping sites introduced by fluorine-ion doping are discussed.
