Methane yield of pyrolytic graphite due to low-energy D+ impact

摘要
The low energy ion erosion of pyrolytic graphite has been measured for incident D+ energies from 10 to 200 eV. Above 30 eV, erosion yields are in reasonable agreement with previous measurements. The agreement with an empirical formula is generally poor, with deviations by as much as an order of magnitude.
